Way back when the internet was fairly new, I looked at the Purdue University website. Way down at the bottom of the page was a reference to their Webmeister. Right then and there, I decided to become one. I took the class at IUPUI-Indianapolis and "mastered" HTML, WFTP, and some of the other basic building blocks of websites. I built a few sites from scratch and sometime later earned a big raise at my regular accounting job to work on the intranet there. I've been retired for 15 years now. Building this site was so challenging! Everything is templates. I bought my domain from Google over 2 years ago. They sent it off to SquareSpace. I didn't like any of their templates. So I looked around and saw that WiX had some blank templates and Premium Site plans on sale. I decided to transfer my Domain to WiX. I took several attempts to find the right search terms to figure out how to do that! (It's 2025 so there's nobody to call about much of anything anymore.) My dedicated email is still registered there.
To make a long story short, I persevered MANY horribly frustrated moments, but I kinda got the hang of it now. 2/16/25 - OR SO I THOUGHT!!! The home page was still messed up when I announced the site's publication. I hope it's ALL fixed now! The gallery page still does some weird things, but I don't think WiX will let me change that. I'd like to make the background on the Blog page consistent with the header background, but I don't seem to have that option
either.

Photography was never my forte. I must apologize for the quality of my art pictures in the initial launch of this site. I broke 1 camera, tossed another, and wound up using my cell phone. My tripod phone holder is really just a spring-loaded cell phone catapult. Fortunately, I had a screen cover. The phone screen cracked A LOT. Part of the problem was trying to set up 40 images in one setting. Beginning with last week's drawings, I'll work in much smaller batches.
This website is dedicated to the friendly Muse who suggested I make an Etsy store after I showed her some of the drawings in my initial gallery posting.
